Third, it has hosted the NCAA Menís Basketball Final Four four times (1982, 1987, 1993, 2003) and is scheduled to host the Final Four again in 2012 Ė not to mention the multiple times the stadium has hosted earlier rounds of the NCAA Menís Basketball Tournament.
In addition, the stadium annually hosts the Sugar Bowl, the New Orleans Bowl and the Bayou Classic.
The biggest home team related event to be played at the Superdome was the NFC Championship Game on January 24, 2010.
