As with attending any sporting event, the location of where you live or where you decide to stay determines what sporting events you can attend. Today, for the first time since April 18, 1980, both the New York Mets and New York Yankees are playing in Chicago on the same day. I am planning to attend both games in this scheduling quirk. The last time two teams from the same metropolitan area played in the same city on the same day was April 15, 1997 when the New York teams hosted the Los Angeles Dodgers and Anaheim Angels, respectively.
