It was my first night alone with the Ultimate Sports Baby as Nicole stayed in Atlanta for an extra night. Obviously with Nicole out of town, we both went to the Cubs game Monday night.

San Diego Padres at Chicago Cubs
The Padres scored 9 runs in the last five innings of the game to defeat the Cubs 9-5. The poor play of the Cubs is finally catching up in the stands. The announced attendance was 36,814 but the stadium looked barely over half full with plenty of room in the bleachers. It’s going to be a long rest of the season.
