Los Angeles Lakers in Milwaukee
With my mom in town to watch Dylan, I chose to drive to Milwaukee for the Lakers and Bucks game since it is easier to drive to Milwaukee after work than back to Chicago.
Parking in Milwaukee
Parking is free on city streets in Milwaukee for night games but the walk is pretty far and not necessarily worth while even though I continue to do it. This time I parked on the corner of Kilbourn Ave. and Broadway St.
Beg, Borrow and Deal
One thing about Milwaukee is that it is much cheaper to attend Bucks games instead of Bulls games. So if you are from the northern Chicago suburbs and have your favorite team coming to town consider going to the Bradley Center rather than the United Center.
Tonight was no different with the Lakers in town. As I approached the arena, I bought a ticket for $15 – although it was a tough negotiation to buy a ticket for that price. But it would be a minor miracle to find that same deal to see the Lakers in Chicago.
Los Angeles Lakers at Milwaukee Bucks
Going to Milwaukee to see the Lakers was actually pretty cool. It is one of those random games the Lakers play that most people don’t hear too much about too. Kobe Bryant scored 31 points to lead the Lakers to a 118-107 victory. The game was not missed by several members of the Green Bay Packers including quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
