For the second time this season, I witnessed the Cubs give up 18 runs at Wrigley Field. This time the Mets pounded the Cubs 18-5 as the Mets scored 5-runs in three different innings. This was only the eighth game I have attended in which one team scored 18 or more runs in the game.

Beg, Borrow and Deal
I sold my tickets to today’s game so rather than try to buy a ticket for today, I traded my extra ticket for yesterday’s game for a ticket to today’s game. In my opinion trading worthless tickets is easier than trying to sell one game and buy at the next game.
