Milwaukee Bucks or Big Ten Tournament
The wife has plans tonight. Whenever she has plans (that do not include me), I always pick out a game to attend somewhere within a reasonable distance – meaning I cannot spend the night in another city and come home the next day (a reasonable request I guess). Most guys might head to the bar or out with some buddies, but I prefer sporting events (for better or worse). Once her dinner was official, I planned to attend the Milwaukee Bucks game versus the Utah Jazz in Milwaukee. I have not been to a Bucks game in over two years and with no games occurring in Chicago, the Bucks are the next best thing.
However, that plan changed once Northwestern won their first round matchup in the Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament Thursday evening. This year I have made the effort to travel to Big Ten basketball venues I have not been to in the past – Crisler Arena (Michigan) and the Breslin Center (Michigan St.). I also have not attended the Big Ten Tournament at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN – I have attended the Big Ten Tournament at the United Center in 2005. The three hour drive from Chicago was not worth it for the first round, but seemed so for Round 2.
