Today the Cubs experienced their worst loss in 18 years. The Angels defeated the Cubs 12-0 which matched their 12-0 loss to the Montreal Expos on September 26, 1992. But, that game was in Montreal. This was their worst home loss since losing 17-0 to the Cincinnati Reds on September 4, 1988.

After the Cubs dismal performance, my friend Mike Rubin and I went to F. O’Mahony’s located on the corner of N. Broadway and W. Waveland Ave. – only a few blocks towards the lake from Wrigley Field. The restaurant has $11 pitchers everyday including game days. With the outdoor seating and a better atmosphere, F. O’Mahony’s is a better place to go after the game than our usual favorite spot Wrigleyville North.
