Lately, I have used ticketmaster.com to determine what sporting events to attend. It’s the perfect way to determine quickly what events are in an area. Today I searched for events and discovered that WWE Raw was at the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim. I had not attended a professional wrestling event before so I had to attend!

The event started at 5 pm so I left work planning to be late to the event. Traffic was worse than normal so when I arrived at the Pond they were no longer selling tickets. I asked how I could buy a ticket and all the ticket takers said there was no way to buy tickets. To solve this problem, I began asking everyone entering the arena if they had an extra ticket. Luckily, the first person I asked had an extra. And not only did he have an extra he had an extra in the second row behind the ring. The seats were incredible. He was friends with the woman wrestler Candice - who gave him the tickets.

Live WWE is unreal. The action in the arena is amazing - although the fighting is definitely fake. In front of us the show “Miracle Workers” were filming an episode on a girl who had heart surgery when she was four years old. We had to sign releases stating we would be in the show. At the end of the event, John Cena gave his Championship belt to the girl.
