History
Toyota Park opened on June 11, 2006 and was built specifically for the Chicago Fire. Toyota Park hosted the 2006 MLS All-Star Game on Saturday, August 5 as the MLS All-Stars played Chelsea FC. For the first time the Eastern Conference Championship was played at Toyota Park on November 14, 2009 when the Fire hosted Real Salt Lake.

Directions
Toyota Park is approximately 15 miles southwest of downtown Chicago.

Driving Westbound on I-55: Exit at Harlem and follow Harlem south to the stadium.
Driving Eastbound on I-55: Exit at 171/Archer and follow Archer south to Roberts, continue on Roberts then make a left on 71st to the stadium.

Parking
Parking lots at Toyota Park cost $15 and open three hours prior to each game’s start time. Toyota Park allows tailgating so plan accordingly.

Public Transportation
The only public transportation option to Toyota Park is to take the CTA Orange Line to Midway airport and transfer to the Toyota Park Express bus, which leaves from the Orange Line stop and runs directly to Toyota Park.

The Toyota Park Express bus departs the Orange Line Midway station every 20 minutes beginning 2 hours before the game’s start time. The only problem is that buses leave Toyota Park 30 minutes after the event ends to return to the Orange Line Midway station – meaning you'll need to wait around awhile after the game.

Location of Ticket Scalpers
Ticket scalpers generally congregate in front of the main ticket office at Toyota Park. You will not find any scalpers outside the parking lot so you will need to park without tickets – but do not worry as there are always extra tickets available.

Food in Stadium
There is nothing special with the food at Toyota Park – general ballpark fare.
