Stadium Review
Edward Jones Dome opened on November 12, 1995 and has many significant sporting events. First, the stadium hosted the 1999 and 2001 NFC Championship Games – both won by the St. Louis Rams as they advanced to the Super Bowl.
Second, the stadium has hosted several NCAA Tournament sessions – including the 2005 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Final Four and the 2004 and 2007 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Rounds 1 and 2. It is also hosting the 2010 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Midwest Regional.
In addition, the stadium hosted the 1996 and 1998 Big 12 Conference football championship games.
Parking
If you are driving, plan to park in one of the independent lots around the stadium. As usual, parking will be cheaper the further away you park.
Public Transportation
If you have the option, plan to take MetroLink to the stadium. The Convention Center station is a short two block walk from Edward Jones Dome.
Location of Ticket Scalpers
Ticket scalpers are concentrated along Washington Ave. near the stadium. You should be able to find scalpers around downtown near the stadium.
