CHICAGO – Allie Quigley led three players in double-figures with 23 points as DePaul remained undefeated with a 91-59 win over Chicago State. With the victory, the 2007-08 Blue Demons are just the third team in school history to start the year with eight straight wins.

The Blue Demons, ranked 16th in both national polls this week, started quickly with a 14-4 lead just over five minutes into the game. Quigley and Deirdre Naughton combined for 11 of the 14 points during the game-opening run.

A layup by Natasha Williams pushed the advantage to 19 points with 8:45 left in the first half and the Blue Demons built their lead to as many as 29 points with a 50-21 lead at intermission.

A three-pointer by Taylor Pikes followed by another bucket by the freshman gave DePaul (8-0) its largest lead of the game at 80-39 with just under nine minutes left in the second half.

Quigley, who passed Debra Robinson and Beth Hasenmiller for eighth on DePaul's all-time scoring list, finished the afternoon with 23 points, five rebounds and three assists. Naughton added 16 points, five assists and three steals with both guards knocking down three three-pointers apiece.

Erin Carney added 12 points and five boards off the bench while Natasha Williams totaled 10 boards, nine points, three blocked shots and two steals.

Jasmin Dixon led Chicago State (4-4) with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

DePaul hits the road for the next four games beginning on Monday at Northern Illinois. The Blue Demons and Huskies square off at 7 p.m. in DeKalb. Following the Northern Illinois game, DePaul travels to Northwestern for an afternoon game on Dec. 20.

Game Notes: DePaul improves to 8-0 for just the third time in school history... the Blue Demons started the season 8-0 in 1985-86 and 2003-04... DePaul has won 26 straight home non-conference games and 28 in-a-row over teams from Illinois... the Blue Demons have also won 42 of the last 43 and 49 of the last 51 against Illinois programs... Allie Quigley passed Debra Robinson (1978-82, 1,592 pts.) and Beth Hasenmiller (1987-91, 1,600 pts.) to move into eight all-time... Quigley has totaled 1,601 points in 105 career games... the Blue Demons scored 90-plus points in two straight games for the first time since Dec. 2005... DePaul posted a 99-61 win over Saint Francis (Pa.) on Dec. 17 and a 96-48 win at Loyola-Chicago on Dec. 20...
