Notes: First four-game conference winning
streak this season and first since the Blue Demons closed out
the 2005-06 season with a six game winning streak...
DePaul’s longest BIG EAST Conference winning streak was
extended to seven games when the Blue Demons defeated Rutgers
to open their 2006-07 campaign. Sam Quigley led the Blue
Demons with 17 points, her highest total since scoring a
career-high at Missouri State (18pts.) on Dec. 10, 2008... she
also tied a career-high with six assists (vs.
Harford-11/22/09, at Pitssburgh-1/29/09). Keisha Hampton
(2-2), Felicia Chester (6-6) and Quigley (8-8) went perfect
from the line as DePaul went 24-for-30 as a team in tonight’s
contest... Chester and Quigley are the first players since
Deirdre Naughton (12 games ago) to go at least 5-for-5 from
the line... Quigley’s eight made free throws are a
career-best. DePaul has held its last three opponents to
under 60 points for the first time this season... it is the
first time the Blue Demons have done so since last season when
that team held opponents to under 60pts. for five consecutive
games (Nov. 29, 2007-Dec. 17, 2009)... DePaul opponents have
averaged 59.0 points in the last four matches against the Blue
Demons.
